Overview

Chemical peels are a great way to help with overall skin rejuvenation but can help with conditions such as acne, tone, texture, and dark spots. Sometimes there are misconceptions with this treatment as people assume they will receive sheet peeling. Not all chemical peels will produce major peeling. Instead, people may receive mild to moderate flaking. Sheet peeling does not have to occur to receive a good treatment. Individual treatment is a good place to start however results will be more noticeable with a series (typically 3-6 treatments). While chemical peels can be performed with certain treatments, it is important to know how your skin is going to respond to each type of treatment separately to know how your skin is going to respond. This will help with providing you a safe and effective treatment.
